Ebenezer Afum can be described as an entertainment journalist, analyst, artiste publicist and a promoter of showbiz in the country. He is the  Managing Editor of Showbizpunchgh.com.

He has been in the entertainment industry for about 15(fifteen years). He started his journey in journalism when he wrote his first ever article which won him an award during his last year at Accra Academy.

Subsequently, he wrote briefly for P&P and also contributed to the newspaper called The Parrot which was quite vibrant in the early 2000s. He also wrote for the popular newspaper called Top Story and was one of the pioneers of the newspaper.

After gaining so much experience in the print media, he ventured into the Electronic media specifically radio. He served as a volunteer at Radio Univers 105.7fm and for four years he got trained in the field of Radio and practised as well.

It must be emphasised that whilst at Radio Univers, he was popularly known as The Hiplife Messiah and within his stay at Radio Univers, he was able to interview most of the entertainment personalities in the country and even out of Ghana.

He is one journalist who is noted for articles that offer constructive criticism to entertainment players in the industry. He also had a column in the Flex Newspaper titled ‘’Celebrations with Ebenezer Narh Affum’’ which brought to the fore the life, works and achievements of Ghanaian entertainment personalities all over the world.

His incisive and constructive articles was consistently able to set the agenda for entertainment discussions on various platforms all over the country and in 2015, he got nominated for the first edition of GN Bank Awards in the Entertainment Journalist of the Year category rubbing shoulders with some other experienced entertainment journalists in the country.

Apart from his journalism background, Ebenezer Afum is a Customer Service Expert and has about 9 years’ experience working in the telecommunications and banking sector. He has worked with Tigo and Airtel over the years as a Call Centre Executive, Quality Associate and a Team Lead and he is currently working with Telecom Giant in the country as a Team Lead/Supervisor. He was part of the team that set up and developed the Fidelity Bank Contact Centre in his capacity as a Team Lead/Supervisor.

About Albert Agbenyegah((Phat Albert)

Albert Agbenyegah is a young gentleman whose passion to see the music industry flourish is heightened daily; seeing an industry that will no longer be plagued with royalty issues, piracy issues etc.

 He has played diverse roles over the years in the entertainment industry to help see it blossom. He has produced various entertainment shows on radio.

 He has served as a producer for the solid gold count down on radio gold, and an assistant producer ON rhythm A-Z on Joy Fm. He has reported on various live news items on Metro TV.

 This has enabled him gather over 7 years of first hand media experience and has now decided to bring to bear his observation understanding of teething issues affecting the music industry.

 Albert is a strong believer of hard work but must be coupled with a well-planned agenda to succeed.

  Although he is no longer in the media circles but into the corporate world, he still takes time off his busy schedule, to pen a few things about the Ghanaian entertainment industry periodically.
